Sauze d'Oulx Ski Resort
Sauze d’Oulx is one of the five Italy ski resorts which form the Milky Way and it needs little introduction to the many British skiers who return there year after year for their ski holidays to enjoy the superb range of skiing, long hours of sunshine and wide range of après ski entertainment. There is a small charge for the local ski bus. Transfer coaches are not permitted in the resort centre. Luggage is transported to the hotels and guests walk through the village to their accommodation.
Beginners 
The village nursery slope is at the foot of the Clotes chairlift but the main area which most beginners will use is at Sportinia, a wide open plateau also with easy runs.
Intermediates 
The parallel Rocce Nere chairlifts extend from Sportinia to Monte Triplex and from the top there is a vast choice of red runs linking the Monte Triplex area with Rocce Nere. In addition, the Rio Nero drag lift is the link lift to Sansicario leading on to the famous Milky Way system covering Sestriere, San Sicario, Cesena and Claviere.
Advanced 
The Moncrons area will be a challenge for the more advanced skier and the Genevris area also offers off-piste possibilities, making it a popular choice for ski holidays. Cross over to Sestriere and Sansicario with the new Basset 4-seater chairlift for a whizz down the World Championship Kandahar run in Sestriere and some long challenging red runs in Sansicario.
Snowboarding
Freeriders will not be disappointed, there are trees to snake through and check out the Borgata and Sestriere black runs to get the blood going. Try the new fun snowboard park in Sestriere. Beginners are not left out with suitable slopes and English instruction.

Apres Ski
Starting early and finishing late Italy ski holidays are packed full of apres ski activities, and the possibilities for non-stop nightlife in Sauze are many and varied. Start with a drink at the Crowded House, Paddy’s or the Derby Bar and move on to one of the two disco’s, Schuss or Banditos. Gran Trun wine bar in the old town for live music.
