Les Arcs Ski Resort

Les Arcs is a wonderful, modern resort filled with inspiring skiing. Now linked to La Plagne, the "Paradiski" area offers a massive 420 kms of pistes, including the Aiguille Rouge glacier above Arc 2000 and the Bellecote glacier in La Plagne, with guaranteed snow. The resort comprises 4 self-contained villages at different heights: Arc 1800 is the largest village, with a lively atmosphere and excellent access to the skiing. Arc 2000 is popular with experienced skiers, with skiing to and from the doorstep. Arc 1600 nestles below the other two and has a real village atmosphere. Arc 1950 is the newest village, built in a traditional style.

Beginners StarStar

Home of the famous “Ski Evolutif” teaching method (mini-skis for learning to start, stop and turn), Les Arcs is a fantastic choice for beginners.

Intermediates Star

The Paradiski Area is perfect for intermediates. Runs include tree-lined descents into Pèisey Nancroix and Vallandry and a multitude of interlinked blue and red runs.

Advanced Star

Ski the breathtaking 7km black Aiguille Rouge right the way down into Villaroger (Europe’s biggest vertical drop of 2000m!), pound the moguls of Dou de l’Homme or take the new 200 seater lift over to La Plagne and return off-piste through the imposing Nancroix forest.

Snowboarding StarStar

Les Arcs' has a superb board park and half-pipe. and there are also many natural hits to play on in the Clocheret area. The pistes are wide and rolling offering the perfect enviroment for all styles of riding and there is abundant terrain for beginners to progress on all week.

Apres Ski

Good après ski in Arc 1800, more limited in Arc 2000. • Red Hot Saloon Bar with live music in 1800, El Latino Loco for a lively, informal atmosphere and more live music in 2000. Discos include the Apokalypse in 1800 and the KL92 in Arc 2000.
