Skiing breaks at Les Arcs

Ski holidays at Les Arcs introduce you to one of the most stunning and accessible ski resorts in Europe. Located in the French Alps, it is actually a complex of resorts, located at altitudes of 810 to 3800 metres. A top choice for family skiing holidays, we at The Co-operative Travel have ski breaks at Les Arcs throughout the season.

The four purpose-built resorts - Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000 – lie in ascending sequence above the charming old town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Easily reached from the UK by air, road or rail, Les Arcs has been part of the Paradiski resort complex since 2003. The interconnected villages also link to the neighbouring ski resorts of Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne via the Vanoise Express cable car.

Family ski breaks at Les Arcs

Les Arcs is the top choice for family skiing breaks, having been awarded the prestigious Ski France Famille Plus certificate, a label of quality guaranteeing high levels of care for children of all ages. A strict six point charter ensures Les Arc ski holidays offer top levels of accommodation, childcare, entertainment, activities and equipment. Children are accommodated in a variety of child-care centres and kids cubs, with safety as the number one priority.

The Les Arcs mini ski clubs give little ones – even those in nappies – the chance to learn to ski in their own enclosed space, while the rest of the family takes to the higher slopes. 7 to 12 year-olds are able to enjoy full-day ski lessons (with lunch provided), and ski passes are free to children up to the age of 6 years. From snowman building competitions to snowboarding lessons, there’s something for everyone.
