Ski breaks in St Anton

If you want family skiing holidays then St Anton is a brilliant choice as this ski resort is considered to be a top ski destination and in addition to that is extremely child focussed.  There is fabulous snow coverage throughout the skiing season allowing great ski breaks up until mid-April.  Over 260km of piste and deep snow trail of 180km can be reached by the Arlberg lift pass.  This allows the more advanced and adventurous skiers to access the other neighbouring resorts of Zurs, Lech and St. Christoph.

Safe skiing for tots

To keep kids safe there are some dedicated areas for children in Nasserein and also in Gampen.  There are some great accommodation options in both these areas making them a great choice for ski breaks for families with young children skiing for the first time.

The village itself is pretty and has a great night life offering a wide range of activities for those who don’t want to head to the slopes and any non-skiers.

Skiing breaks can be taken from mid-December right through until mid-April however this area offers families an excellent mountain holiday with plenty of activities for all age ranges.

You can get flights to Innsbruck from several British airports and then transfer to St Anton in 75 minutes.  There are some excellent accommodation options to fit with all budgets and family requirements in St Anton and the surrounding areas.

Fabulous ski holidays for all abilities

St Anton has a brilliant snow record and is perfect for skiing breaks for all abilities.  There are some great beginner slopes at Nasserein both at the top and bottom of the goldola.

If you are an intermediate or advanced skier then St Anton guarantees skiing breaks that offer excitement and exhilaration.  There are 31 black and 71 red runs which will stretch even the most experienced skier and there is some breathtaking scenery to admire whilst you tackle the slopes.  There is 180km of unpisted marked trails and if you are feeling really daring there is a great range of off-piste skiing available also.

If you feel like a break from the slopes there are other family activities available such as bowling, tobogganing and indoor tennis.  In Pettneu, 5km away, there is a swimming pool available.
