This is one of Finland's best known resorts, Pyhä is found on the edge of the Arctic Circle in Lapland within the Pyhätunturi National Park, an area of unspoilt and dramatic landscapes. The immaculately groomed pistes in the whole area provide plenty of scope to work on techniques, ideal for the established skier with beautiful tree lined runs and no lift queues.
The vertical drop provides extreme skiing and the off-piste area of Pyhä ensures some fantatic snow conditions throughout the whole season. You will particularly enjoy the challenges of the runs on the western side of the mountain
Freestylers will enjoy the half pipe with high walls and good transition in addition to the off-piste areas. Get to grips with the challenges of the runs on the western side of the mountain with great powder runs on both sides of the long T-bar on the North slope.

When it comes to having a good time, the Finns are no slouches and Après ski is always a lively affair, with plenty of music. Try Ski Bistro, the Hotel Pyhä's après ski bar often with live music or even the unusual snow-clad "Ice Bar".
Ice fishing and ice golf are unusual but fun pastimes. You can also visit the nearby Amethyst Mines or even Santa's Grotto at Rovaniemi.
