Neukirchen is a pretty, alpine village, nestled amongst the stunning scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The 'Wildkogel' ski area has a north-facing bowl with an excellent snow record and wonderful wide, open runs. There is all-day childcare for children from 2.5 years old, and the team of top instructors will ensure everyone gets the most out of their holiday, whether they are a beginner or a more advanced skier or boarder. For those looking to cover as many miles of piste as possible, Neukirchen also has an alliance with nearby Zillertal/Gerlos, so you can choose an upgraded lift pass and ski there too!

Beginners (4 out of 5)

Neukirchen has a gentle beginner area in the village, and also has a children's beginner area at the top of the Wildkogel gondola. There are also plenty of wide, open blue runs on which to further develop your skills as the week progresses.

Intermediates (4 out of 5)

The 'Wildkogel' ski area is a north-facing bowl which is reknown for great snow conditions. There are a good selection of blue and red runs to enjoy, and at the end of the day you can ski all the way back to the village.

Advanced (3 out of 5)

For the more advanced skier Neukirchen is a great base from which to explore the area - not only Neukirchen's 'Wildkogel' but you can also choose to upgrade your lift pass to include Gerlos (part of the Mayrhofen/Zillertal Arena; FREE ski bus) too! Alternatively hire a guide to go off-piste ski touring - leave the pistes behind and make the most of this stunning landscape!

Snowboarding (3 out of 5)

The area is great for learning to board, with lots of wide, gentle terrain. There is also a 'Boarder Cross' area, and up at Gerlos you will find two half pipes and a fun park on which to enjoy some freestyle action.

Apres Ski

There are a number of nice cafés and a variety of bars in the village, many of them are part of the resort's hotels. For those looking to dance until the early hours there is also a nightclub - the "Pinzgauer Kanne".
