In 1984, Birmingham’s main terminal was opened but since then a second terminal was open to accommodate more passengers. However in February 2011, to improve passenger’s experience the airport was made in to one main terminal facility. 

     Car Parking:

There are two main onsite car parks, which are located within a few minutes walk of the terminals. Onsite parking can be expensive, so it is advisable to book parking in advance. There are also long stay offsite car parks, within a few miles of the airport terminals, where a transfer bus will take you to the terminal.

Train Links:
There are train links into Birmingham International rail station at the airport. The rail station is connected to the main Airport terminals by ‘The SkyRail’, a short 2 minute walk away.
