When to book package holidays in Turkey

To get a cheap Turkey holiday the best time to book is in late spring or early autumn, when prices are low and the heat more bearable. The half-term breaks are popular times to travel. For teens and pre-teens there’s a wealth of activities to do, from white water rafting and horse-riding in the mountains, to scuba diving, kayaking and cave exploring on the coast.  

Antalya resorts offer an enormous variety of holidays. The Taurus Mountain landscape is breathtaking, with secluded, rocky inlets backed by spectacular mountains, forests and waterfalls. The area is rich with history, offering numerous ancient sites to explore. Alanya, Kas, Side and Belek are all popular resorts, combining spectacular scenery and ancient sites with sandy beaches and sports activities.

Staying in Dalaman resorts

Dalaman has some of Turkey’s best beaches, with all inclusive holidays at Olu Deniz being a hot favourite. Here, kids can dig in the pristine white sand or snorkel in the shallow, crystalline waters, backed by a landscape of pine forests whilst adults relax away from the hustle and bustle.

Water sports fans are well looked after, while the water parks and cinemas are worthwhile alternatives for when it gets hot. Local attractions include the amazing Phosphorus Caves and mud baths of Dalyan.
