Seafood and Sandy Beaches
Known as the Costa Blanca's holiday capital, with sunny days by the beach and lively entertaining nights on the town, Benidorm package holidays remain as popular as ever. It was the magnificent pair of enormous sandy beaches of Levante and Poniente that first helped cement package holidays to Benidorm as a favourite back in the 1970s. And today it's that excellent four miles of sand, along with the warm welcome for Britons that still attracts millions of visitors to this lively and modern part of the 'White Coast'...
Despite all the undeniably modern attractions of Benidorm those seeking a touch of authentic Spain can also find it in the quaint old town. Here delightful tapas bars and restaurants sit alongside traditional shops and designer boutiques. Away from the coast the mountainous Pyrenees presents a spectacular scenic backdrop and an insight into traditional Spanish culture.
The resort offers an array of accommodation types, from budget self catering apartments to luxury all inclusive hotels and everything in between, whatever you are looking for, you are sure to find the right holiday for you.
Its great year round climate ensures its popularity during the winter months with an abundance of UK tourists taking advantage of cheap long stay holidays. Many hotels offer excellent rates for stays of 28 nights or more so if you can spare the time away from home its well worth checking out what offers are available.
With only a 2 hour flight from the UK, Benidorm is a great choice for a short break and is a popular hen and stag party destination. Terrra Mitica Theme Park on the outskirts of Benidorm offers a selection of thrilling rides and roller coasters catering for children of all ages. The animal parks of Mundomar and Terra Natura feature a range of shows and entertainment for the whole family. Both beaches in Benidorm hold Blue Flag status and are rock free.
