Canary Islands Holidays
Archipelagos and Adventures
A fantastic destination year round, the subtropical Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago located near West Africa. Due to their location, they have one of the smallest variations in climate between summer and winter. Partner this with sandy beaches and stunning volcanic landscapes and you will understand why this popular family holiday destination is re-visited time and again.
Popular for couples holidays, romantic breaks and family holidays alike you will never be at a loss for what to do here. Choose between lively Tenerife, Lanzarote or Gran Canaria, or quieter Fuerteventura & La Palma. Great for winter sun or a summer holiday, you won't regret choosing the Canaries, whichever isle you choose!
Holidays to Tenerife are the most popular in the Canary Islands. With beautiful beaches and volcanic black coastlines, you could feel you are in a different world, not just a different country. One of the main reasons for visiting Tenerife may well be to see the spectacular Teide National Park and Mount Teide... the third largest volcano in the world from its base, great for exploring, hiking, and amazing views from the top, make sure this is on you 'to-do' list! Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast and is the second largest (after Tenerife) of all the islands. Fuerteventura offers peace and relaxation and is great if you are a sun-worshipper looking for a simple beach holiday along the vast stretches of sandy coastline... or are just after that romantic couples holiday. La Palma is one of the smallest Canary Islands and primarily a large national park full of unspoilt nature as well as being home to the largest volcano in the world, La Caldera de Taburiente. Being volcanic, the black sandy beaches make for dramatic viewing and La Palma has very few resorts meaning it is perfect for romantic breaks and those looking for a quieter holiday.
