First stop has to be Walt Disney World Florida, where the Magic Kingdom Park is home to the infamous Mickey Mouse, hair-raising roller coasters and fun-filled adventures.  It has many theme parks including Epcot, MGM Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park to name a few.  Next, move onto Universal Studios where you’ll be transported beyond the big screen and into the action of your favourite films.  Or why not, visit SeaWorld where you’ll be enchanted by the dolphins, whales and sea lions and other friendly marine characters.

However there is a lot more to Orlando than its famous theme parks.  Dads will be wowed by the fabulous golf courses, some of which are even themed, or they may be tempted by a trip to the Kennedy Space Centre.  Whilst for mums, Orlando is a shopper’s paradise with International Drive being one of the best places to shop until you drop.

Orlando has hundreds of fantastic hotels, apartments and villas, so much so that you’ll be spoilt for choice.  Villas could be a cheaper option for those travelling in large parties.  You may prefer to stay at an official Disney hotel, where you’ll be close to all the action and you can benefit from free transport between parks and great offers on attraction passes.  Kissimmee and International Drive are also popular places to stay, due to their close proximity to the theme parks.

If you want to venture outside of Orlando, other great places not to miss in Florida are Miami, Florida Keys and the Fort Lauderdale and the Sanibel islands, which are all renowned for their fabulous beaches.
