Bugibba, in the North of Malta, is a lively resort based on the rocky Northern Coastline. Activities here include glass-bottom boat trips; scuba diving, scenic cruises and excursions to the fabulous Blue Grotto Caves, while for little ones there are playgrounds and beach trampolines.  (If you are looking for a sandy beach however, Mellieha Bay just 8km away may be your best bet as the rocky coast here in Bugibba does not offer many sunbathing options!)

Mellieha Bay

Holidays at Mellieha Bay are hard to beat. This sandy beachfront resort offers cheap family holidays with a more relaxed atmosphere than lively Bugibba – yet just as near the attractions. From here it’s an easy ride into the historic walled city of Valleta or, from the Grand Harbour you can take ferry trips to the neighbouring islands of Gozo and Comino.
