Kassiopi holidays - Corfu

The main, blue flag status beach is located away from the main road, and is flat, making it child-friendly. But beware of the afternoon northerly winds, which can soon whip up waves which will blow away the unwary who have ventured out to sea on their lilos. 

There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for hire on all of the beaches in Kassiopi.

On a hillside overlooking the harbour is Kassiopi Castle. Begun by the Romans, it was sadly almost completely demolished in the 14th century. The few remains are, however, Byzantine.

Boat trips leave Kassiopi harbour daily to Corfu town and other areas of interest on the island.

Kassiopi’s many shops include bakeries, supermarkets, tourist shops selling leather goods, gifts and souvenirs, clothes shops, some good lace and linen shops, ceramics, jewellery, and English newspapers. As a concession to modern communications, you’ll also find two internet cafes.
