Dassia Holidays

GENERAL

Get the best of both sides of Corfu when you choose a Dassia holiday from The Co-operative Travel! Set on the island's eastern coast, Dassia is equidistant from Corfu Town and the airport, as well as enjoying a tranquil beachside setting.

Atmospheric and lively, Dassia is also an unpretentious resort set on a flat stretch of coast and surrounded by lush, green hills. It makes an excellent base for exploring Corfu's other attractions, as not only is the capital close by, but a similar distance in the opposite direction lies Ipsos, another resort renowned for its buzzing nocturnal scene.

From Dassia, winding roads head through olive groves to a number of traditional Corfu villages which are just waiting to be explored.

Options for a Dassia package holiday or a Dassia all-inclusive holiday are numerous, with several hotels enjoying the peace of their own extensive landscaped grounds, but apartments, rooms and a camp site also available.

Getting around Dassia

The hilly terrain is excellent mountain-biking territory, and a shop in the centre of Dassia offers cycle hire as well as guided tours.

The resort's compact beach has an EU Blue Flag denoting its cleanliness, and the calm water of the sea channel - across which the Greek mainland and Albanian mountains are both visible - is great for water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving and paragliding.

There is a handful of souvenir shops, but a better bet is to head to Corfu Town for a full range of locally-produced crafts.

Dassia has a single nightclub where you can dance into the small hours by the water's edge, but apart from this is fairly low-key, with a selection of bars and tavernas along the main road offering traditional food and dancing.

On a Dassia holiday from The Co-operative Travel you'll find plenty to ensure that this particular part of Corfu captures your heart. So check now to see the latest deals and offers we have available to this shining Greek Island gem.
