France Holidays

GENERAL

All inclusive holidays in French resorts are affordable and child-friendly, with theme parks, cinemas, water sports and acres of soft sand to play in. Cheap holidays can also be taken at camping parks, where tents and activities are fully laid on for you. We at The Co-operative Travel have a whole range of package holidays in France so there will be something to suit everyone.

Where to book holidays in France

From the fishing villages of Brittany, to the sizzling beaches of Cannes, French package holidays are affordable and convenient. Easily accessible by ferry or Eurostar, you can even take your own car, bringing prices down even further. As you go further south the seas become progressively warmer and the beaches sandier - making this area of France the perfect introduction to foreign travel for little ones.

When you're looking for cheap family holidays, the Cote d'Azur might not seem an obvious choice. It summons up visions of the jet-set, and millionaire yachting marinas, rather than buckets-and-spades on the beach. However, there are a number of resorts offering all inclusive holidays for families along this stretch of coast, and they can be very reasonable, especially if you book outside the height of the season.

Nice is one of the most pleasant resorts to visit with young children. There is an attractive promenade, parks and a safe, sandy beach. The old town makes for a fascinating stroll, and the ice-creams are particularly good. The Cote d'Azur ends at the Italian border, so they should be!

There is also a range of water sports. At the Promenade des Anglais you can rollerblade with the locals or explore the designer shops.

All inclusive holidays in Corsica

It is not always realised that Corsica is part of France - it is certainly very different to the mainland. However, this beautiful island, alive with history, is the perfect destination for some memorable holidays, blending history and culture with golden beaches.

Corsica only became part of France 200 years ago, and the island has a predominantly Italianate feel. There are art galleries, museums and churches to explore, while the wild mountains of the interior offer the more active holidaymaker a range of extreme sports, from white-water rafting to rock climbing.

The most popular resorts are Bastia and Ajaccio. The beaches around L'lle-Rousse and Calvi are beautiful and perfect for younger children owing to their calm water and soft sand. Activities include scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and fishing.

Package holidays in France are varied and affordable. We at The Co-operative Travel have cheap holidays in a number of areas of France and we are happy to help you find the area to suit your interests.
