Bang in the centre of the action, that's the only way to describe International drive, it's truly a holiday destination in itself. At just over fourteen miles of thrills, spills and mind-blowing excitement this epic concentration of theme parks, water parks, hotels, shopping malls and restaurants is like nowhere else on earth.
At the northern end is the Universal studio's complex at the southern end is the wonderful world of Disney and in between there's a countless number of attractions from indoor parachuting to dining with a galleon of pirates. Getting arounds easy to, if you’re a little concerned about driving on the wrong side of the road you can jump on the I-drive trolley bus which operates between 8am and 1030 pm for around $3 a day.
If you prefer a private villa to a hotel your more than likely to stay outside the international drive, (in either Kissimmee or the Lake Buena Vista area) but if you want to eat out you can't go far wrong here with literally hundreds of mouth-watering choices whether it be the value led American chains or the more bespoke dining experiences offered in the many dinner theatres.
