Caribbean holidays

 Coconuts and Cuba Libres

Think luxurious beaches, rum cocktails and shimmering white sand beaches… yes you are in heaven… (well… the Caribbean but there’s not much difference!)

These magnificent islands offer the ultimate in affordable luxury with their upmarket resorts or you can go for all out extravagance with your own beach hut for that romantic holiday or honeymoon.

The high season is between December and May, however, if you want cheap family holidays in the summer months then, provided you don’t mind the humidity, the Caribbean offers some excellent all inclusive deals, at a time that’s traditionally the most expensive elsewhere.

Cuba or Dominican Republic are reasonable year round but wherever you choose, with magnificent scenery both above and below the water, exotic wildlife and excellent water sports, it’s easy to see why the Caribbean is so popular.

Cuba

Everyone is raving about Cuba.. .why?  Could it be the perfect golden beaches, the strong local rum or the incredible history here?  Perhaps you are into old cars, architecture or photography, if so this is for you.

Cuba is in the middle of a revolution so if you want to see traditional Cuba … go sooner rather than later.

This typical Caribbean Isle offers a little more than just amazing beaches.  Hit Jamaica at the right time and you will find reggae festivals and beach parties!   Partner perfect beaches along with breathtaking scenery like Dunn’s River Falls and you can’t help but feel like you are in paradise.

Dominican Republic

Perhaps the most reasonably priced isles of the Caribbean, and not surprisingly, the most popular destination in the Caribbean, Dominican Republic combines fun-filled resorts with history, culture and eco-friendly tourism. Great for families!

Barbados

First-timers and couples often book all inclusive holidays in Barbados. Uniquely British, it offers everything from big game fishing (the flying fish is the island’s emblem) to cricket on the village green and there is a live jazz festival in January.
