Benidorm, like most major tourist centres, offers excellent shopping, from snazzy malls to local flea markets. The most popular shopping area can be found on Avienda Martinez Alejos in the Old Town, mainly due to the fact is has been pedestrianised, making the shopping experience much better.

Dedicated followers of fashion should head towards Rincón de Loix or Levante, where an abundance of boutiques will call you in to sample the latest european fashions. Take a stroll down the Passeig de la Carretera or Plaza Mayor and be amazed at the quality of leather goods on offer.

Excellent bargain hunting can be found and the many local markets around Benidorm where you can pick up some beautiful local handicraft, bric-a-brac and even antiques. Markets are held very often, so be sure to ask around so you don't miss out.

Situated in the centre of town on wednesday & sunday mornings, grab yourself some local handicraft here, and even some tasty hot snacks.

Offering good bargains and a great atmosphere, you'll find this market every sunday and once a month on a saturday

You can pick up a bargain in Benidorm, with some nice gold and gems at good prices, especially around the Levante area.

You won't be surprised to find numerous leather goods all over Benidorm ranging from bags, jackets, shoes and purses. Specialist areas include the Passeig de la Carreterra & the Avenida del Mediterraneo.
