Although Bali is small the nightlife around the harbour area is fairly lively with bars, pubs and tavernas providing waterfront entertainment. At the Highway Club, near the entrance to the town, you can dance the night away in the open air. There are many restaurants where you can enjoy a more sedate evening over a meal and a glass of wine.
