Lanzarote Holidays

Volcanos and Views

Lanzarote is one of the larger Canary Islands and benefits from all-year round sun. This is not a place to visit if you wish to undertake serious sightseeing. Beach, pool, bar and restaurant are orders of the day and rest and relaxation take prominence. However, if you do feel the urge to omit sun-bathing for a day or two of your holiday the Timanfaya National Park on the west coast offers a glimpse at one of the most bizarre, desolate and eye-popping landscapes that you will witness on earth. All inclusive holidays in Lanzarote are very popular with a number of hotels offering this as an option.

Costa Teguise

One of the most well known resorts on the island, Costa Teguise offers fantastic beaches and a wide array of watersports. It is also home to the islands only golf course set amongst the volcanic hills. A trip to Costa Teguise is not complete without a visit to its popular Sunday market with a variety of stalls selling Spanish handicrafts. More information about Costa Teguise.

Journey time from the airport 20 minutes (Approximately)

Puerto Del Carmen

One of the liveliest resorts on the island, Puerto del Carmen has grown over the years from a small fishing village to a popular buzzing resort. The old town’s harbour still has a traditional feel with narrow winding back streets and excellent seafood restaurants. More information about Puerto del Carmen

Playa Blanca

Further away from the hustle and bustle, Playa Blanca is more traditional than its counterparts. Great for family holidays with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pretty harbour area offers a selection of outdoor cafes and seafood restaurants. If you feel like a change of scenery, why not hop on one of the regular ferries from the harbour over the Fuerteventura. More information about Playa Blanca
