Supermodels 'head off on ski holidays'

Ski holidays look to be an A-list favourite this year, with both Heidi Klum and Elle McPherson spotted taking their families to the slopes.

Although travelling separately, the two supermodels have picked to take ski holidays in the American resort of Aspen in Colorado this year, according to the Daily Mail.

Heidi Klum looked set to head out on the piste, despite having only given birth ten weeks ago to her daughter Lou.

Her other three children all looked keen to set off on their skiing lesson, while their dad, the musician Seal, brought the family's equipment from the car.

Elle McPherson, meanwhile, was seen looking dressed for the occasion in a huge coat and sturdy boots as she holidayed with her two children, Flynn and Aurelius.

For anyone who is planning to hit the slopes this winter, the Ski Club of Great Britain has reminded them of the importance of having adequate travel insurance and to check the small print before taking part in any additional activities that may not be covered.
