Ski Club launches snow report iPhone app
The Ski Club of Great Britain has launched a new iPhone application in conjunction with Land Rover.
Brits jetting off on
ski holidays can download it for free from iTunes.com and receive live snow data from 250 resorts.
The application also provides information on general skiing conditions and snow depths.
In addition, holidaymakers can use the technology to access web cams and the latest winter sports news.
Ski Club news media manager Abi Lee commented: "The snow information provided on the app is the most accurate and up to date around and will be ideal for skiers and boarders who want to check conditions when they are on the move and even when they are in resort."
Users have already been providing some excellent feedback about the application, she added.
Meanwhile, Brits who plan to book a last-minute
ski holiday may wish to consider heading to Geneva.
According to
flight search site Skyscanner, it is easily accessible from the UK and boasts a large number of resorts.
