Turkey and Greece 'becoming sun holiday hotspots of choice'

Turkey and Greece are developing into the sun holiday destinations of choice for "discerning travellers", according to Monarch Airlines.

Managing director Kevin George commented on the rising popularity of the countries following the airline's announcement that it will be launching new flights to two leading resorts this month.

A service from Manchester to Bodrum is already underway, while new connections to the Turkish destination from Birmingham and Gatwick airports will be introduced on May 23rd.

From the same date, Britons embarking on cheap holidays to Greece will be able to catch flights from Luton to Corfu with Monarch.

"We've listened to the feedback we've received from our customers and we're expanding as a result," said Mr George.

"Turkey and Greece are increasingly becoming the sunshine destinations of choice for discerning travellers and we're extremely happy to be able to extend our excellent value and award-winning service to these destinations."

Other popular summer holiday locations served by the carrier from the UK include Tenerife, Mallorca and Cyprus.ADNFCR-2580-ID-800517122-ADNFCR
