Try taking activity summer holidays to Turkey
Families who like to get out and about when on
holiday need look no further than planning a trip to Turkey this year, it has been suggested.
While the country is well known for its climate and gorgeous beaches, families may well like to try something new on their
holiday, with the Guardian suggesting a gulet cruise.
Travelling up the country's south-west coast, passengers are greeted with the spectacular views between Gocek and Bodrum.
Brave swimmers can even have a go at snorkelling and take excursions to various historic sites on the way, the newspaper stated.
Families with toddlers can try heading over to the country outside of the hot mid-summer months to have an adventure by boat to the many islands and bays, as well as visiting some historic ruins and playing on the beach.
A trip to Turkey could be ideal for families who stayed at home last year, as Lloyds TSB has reported that many are looking to buck the staycation trend and head abroad.
