Spot celebrities on holidays to Turkey

Those planning to take holidays to Turkey over the coming months have been advised that it is a popular destination with celebrities.

According to OK! magazine, the Turkish Riviera is a favourite with the glitterati who like to sail along the coast in their yachts.

"Tom Hanks and Jack Nicholson have holidayed here, while Shakira, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have been spotted in the harbour town of Gocek," the publication noted.

People looking for things to do at night on their holidays to Turkey are advised to take in a show and enjoy some traditional Turkish dancing and entertainment.

The magazine added that Turkey is just a four-hour flight away from the UK and is home to more than 5,000 miles of spectacular coastline.

Figures released recently by travel site Skyscanner show that that flight searches for Turkey are around 159 per cent higher than for Greece.
