Non-eurozone destinations 'offer excellent value'
Holidaymakers hoping to stretch their hard-earned cash further this year may wish to consider travelling to a non-eurozone destination.
Bob Atkinson, an expert from Travelsupermarket.com, said there are some excellent deals to be had this year.
"It's the same one's as the last couple of years like your Turkeys, Egypts, Northern African destinations, Iceland in particular and South Africa. They are still very good value for money," he commented.
In addition, Mr Atkinson noted that US hot spots such as Florida can also be a great option for British families, as the exchange rate between the dollar and pound is more favourable now for UK travellers than it was in 2009.
A recent study carried out by the website revealed that the average Brit plans to allow £1,014 per person for their main
holiday this year, with male travellers prepared to spend slightly more than their female counterparts.
