New flights to summer holiday hotspots
Britons considering
cheap holidays to Turkey this year will have a wider range of
flights to choose from, following the announcement of new services to one of the country's leading destinations.
Monarch Airlines will introduce new routes to Bodrum from Manchester airport on May 2nd and from Birmingham and Gatwick on May 23rd.
People planning
summer holidays in Greece will also be offered three weekly
flights from Luton to Corfu with the carrier from May 23rd this year.
As well as introducing new routes, Monarch will be increasing the frequency of its services to popular Mediterranean
holiday hotspots such as Paphos and Palma de Mallorca from Gatwick and Manchester airports.
Managing director Kevin George revealed that the airline has seen strong demand from customers for its summer services.
"It's great therefore that we have been able to respond to this demand further by boosting our eastern Med programme with the introduction of new
flights to Corfu and Bodrum, as well as strengthen schedules on a number of our core sunshine routes," he added.
Other popular destinations on offer to people planning a
summer holiday this year include the Algarve in Portugal and Spain's Costa del Sol.
