Visit 'atmospheric' Malaga on a Spanish holiday
Britons planning
cheap holidays to Spain this year can choose from a range of destinations, including Malaga, which has been recommended by the national tourist board.
Ignacio Vasallo, director of the Spanish Tourist Office for the UK and Ireland, described the city as "dynamic and atmospheric".
Travellers can catch
flights to Malaga to explore the country's sun-soaked southern coast or to visit the city's own attractions, which include museums and historic forts.
"Malaga is a dynamic and atmospheric Spanish port and visitors should make sure they visit the former home of Picasso - the Picasso Museum - and the Alcazaba, one of southern Spain's most important historic monuments," said Mr Vasallo.
The tourist board spokesman said that Easter is "an ideal time" to take a
holiday in Malaga, Alicante or any other destination in the country, offering "very pleasant" temperatures and a host of events and celebrations highlighting Spanish culture and religious traditions.
