See Picasso at work on a Costa del Sol holiday

Travellers staying on the Costa del Sol during summer holidays in Spain this year can add some culture to their break by visiting a new exhibition in Malaga.

The city is currently hosting a display of photographs of one of the most acclaimed and influential artists of the 20th century - Pablo Picasso.

Visitors can see some 115 images, which were among thousands captured by photojournalist David Douglas Duncan during the years he spent with the painter and sculptor between 1956 and 1961.

Also on view at the Museo Picasso in Malaga are 77 artworks that feature in the photographs, including the sculptures La mona y su cria (Baboon and Young, 1951) and Mujer con llave (Woman with Key, 1954-1957).

The exhibition will continue until September 25th, meaning travellers will have plenty of opportunities to visit during package holidays in Spain over the summer months.

Malaga is home to many other attractions, including historic cathedrals and castles.ADNFCR-2580-ID-800629681-ADNFCR
