Ryanair announces cheap flights from Manchester to Spain

People looking for cheap holidays to Spain may be interested to hear that budget airline Ryanair has announced new routes from Manchester to Alicante, Madrid and Tenerife.

The airline has also stated it will be introducing cheap flights from Manchester to Faro in Portugal.

Michael O'Leary, chief executive of Ryanair, said: "We expect Ryanair's five Manchester routes to deliver 600,000 passengers and sustain 600 jobs in Manchester while saving passengers over £6m in 2011 on the fares offered by Manchester's high fares airlines."

In order to celebrate the new routes from Manchester, Ryanair has announced that it will be offering cheap flights to destinations across Europe in February.

Mr O'Leary has described the £7 seats as "crazy low prices" and urged consumers to visit ryanair.com as soon as possible to get hold of the tickets.

Ryanair launched its summer 2011 schedule on January 25th as it joined Keith Brown, Scottish Transport Minister, at Glasgow Prestwick Airport to welcome its 20 millionth passenger.ADNFCR-2580-ID-800368850-ADNFCR
