Ibiza 'family friendly' for summer 2010 holidays
Despite its reputation as a haven for partying 20-somethings, Ibiza can be the ideal place to head for a relaxing break with the family.
Families who want to get away from it all but still have ample opportunities to spend time together could try heading out to the Spanish island, according to one writer in the Guardian.
When announcing plans to take her husband and two-year-old daughter away to Ibiza she was told that they would not have an enjoyable time, but upon arriving at a secluded villa with its own private swimming pool and gardens, they found their fears were false.
There are also plenty of things to keep everyone entertained, aside from heading onto the island's famous beaches. Hippy markets which run twice a week and delicious restaurants tucked into seaside towns are ideal for experiencing some of the culture.
A recent study by the Love Ibiza website found that 92 per cent of people who visited the island stated that they wanted to return, with 78 per cent planning on heading there for their summer 2010 trip.
