Check out some new attractions on a holiday in Spain
Families planning to stay on the Costa Blanca during
cheap holidays to Spain this year can check out some new attractions in Alicante.
First to open this month will be the Auditorium of Alicante, which will welcome visitors from March 16th.
Situated in the city centre, the complex will comprise a concert hall with the capacity to hold up to 1,500 spectators, as well as eight multi-purpose rooms for conferences, exhibitions and other events.
The auditorium will play host to a varied line-up of live gigs and shows, including two charity performances on April 2nd to mark the Royal British Legion's 90th anniversary.
People taking
cheap holidays to Spain after March 22nd this year can head to the old town area of Alicante to visit the new Museum of Contemporary Art.
The institution will showcase a permanent collection of 20th-century art comprising paintings, sculptures and other works by the likes of Picasso, Braque, Chagall, Dali and Miro.
It is based in a 17th-century palace that is regarded as an important example of Baroque architecture in Alicante, providing an impressive sight for visitors to see during
summer holidays on the Costa Blanca.
