Thomas Cook 'offers more choice on flights to Majorca'
British families planning to take holidays to Majorca next year may be interested to learn that Thomas Cook plans to make it even more convenient for travellers to jet away.
The travel provider has announced plans to operate
flights every Saturday between May 28th and September 17th 2010 from Southampton Airport.
"With its mix of beaches, great weather, fantastic food and entertainment, Majorca is a fantastic option for families, couples and group
holidays. We're committed to our flying programme from the region, so we're really pleased to be able to offer even more choice to travellers from Southampton Airport," said Thomas Cook chief executive Ian Derbyshire.
Holidaymakers that enjoy spending time at the beach are advised to visit Sa Coma or the stunning coves of Cala D'Or, while travellers looking to soak up some culture during their break can head to Palma, where there are museums and a cathedral to explore.
A survey carried out earlier this year by TripAdvisor revealed that 75 per cent of Brits hope to take a break this summer.
