Take 'great pictures' on holidays to Greece
Britons taking
holidays to Greece and other popular destinations this summer have been offered some advice on taking photographs.
Writing for the Guardian, photographer Martin Parr said travellers should not be afraid to take pictures that are not perfect.
"Don't be scared of photographing a storm-out, crying fit or strop ...On
holiday, of course photograph the daytrips and good times, but make sure you document when everything isn't going to plan as well," he said.
Mr Parr advised holidaymakers to take snaps of their accommodation and surroundings so they can remember the place when they return to the UK.
Printing pictures is also important as we are in danger of having "a whole generation" that has no photograph albums because all images are stored digitally, he added.
A recent study carried out by insurance provider Rias revealed that "three-generational"
holidays to Greece and elsewhere are proving increasingly popular, with around four million grandparents expected to take a break with their children and grandchildren this summer.
