Holidays in Greece promoted at London shopping centre

Some of the experiences on offer during cheap holidays to Greece are being showcased at a special event at London's Westfield shopping centre.

The Greek Theme Park opened on March 19th and will continue to welcome guests until March 27th.

Visitors can sample some of the cuisine on offer in the country, with celebrated chefs Stelios Parliaros and Christophoros Peskias preparing dishes featuring authentic products and ingredients.

A world-class 'mixologist' is also on hand to prepare cocktails for members of the public to sample while relaxing on a beach that has been specially constructed at the shopping centre.

People planning cheap holidays to Greece this year can find out more about some of the outdoor pursuits and activities on offer in the country, such as rock climbing, golf and sailing.

The display was arranged by Visit Greece and is supported by organisations including Aegean Airlines.

There are plenty of Greek destinations for travellers to choose from, including the scenic islands of Rhodes, Mykonos and Crete.
