Cheap flights to Greece announced by Ryanair
Those searching for all-inclusive
holidays to Greece will be glad to hear that budget airline Ryanair has announced a new route from London Stansted to Thessaloniki, the country's second largest city.
Marking the airline's first UK route to Greece, the service will commence on April 13th, with fares from £37.99 one way, inclusive of taxes, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy
cheap flights to the destination.
A £7 seat sale, which includes all taxes and charges, has been announced by the company to celebrate the launch and consumers can choose from 500,000 seats for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in February.
"Thessaloniki is a fantastic destination offering stunning architecture, a Unesco World Heritage Site with numerous museums, festivals and events taking place all year round," commented Ryanair's Laura McCormack.
She went on to encourage people to capitalise on the sale by booking their tickets to the 500-plus European routes in February before midnight on Monday (January 31st).
The capital of the region of Macedonia, Thessaloniki is renowned for its Byzantine monuments and other attractions.
