There is 'so much to do' on a holiday to Egypt
British families taking holidays to Egypt will find no shortage of things to do during their stay.
This is according to Nadine Hallak, a spokesperson for Cheapflights Media, who noted that as well as visiting the pyramids, holidaymakers can explore some of the many museums in Cairo, as well as the famous Khan el Khalili market.
"Egypt offers year-round sunshine and excellent value for money, not to mention unrivalled culture and history," she commented.
Ms Hallak suggested that water sports enthusiasts and those who enjoy spending time at the beach should head to one of the Red Sea resorts, where there are a wide range of activities available.
Travel provider Thomson revealed earlier this year that demand for
flights to long-haul destinations such as Egypt, Morocco and Egypt is up by 14 per cent compared to 2009.
The company noted that
holidays to Turkey and Tunisia are also proving popular this year.
