Holidays to Egypt 'still popular with Brits'
Despite the widespread political upheaval earlier this year, research shows British tourists are searching online for
holidays to Egypt.
Figures from Hitwise show resorts such as Hurghada in Egypt are becoming increasingly popular with British jet-setters in the last few months, while the Red Sea city of Sharm el Sheikh is the 39th most searched for holiday destination.
Daniel Ox of Beat the Brochure commented: "It is not surprising that
last minute holidays to Egypt are increasingly popular with tourists. Egypt is an excellent summer and winter destination, with high temperatures all year round.
"Egypt truly has a lot to offer British tourists," he noted, as all the resorts in the country offer holidaymakers everything they need to have a great experience.
"There are so many activities on offer in this country, especially in Hurghada. This resort on the Red Sea is the best place to combine a diving expedition with a trip to the stunning pyramids," Mr Ox added.
