Song set for Seychelles carnival

The grand ‘Carnaval International de Victoria’ hits the Seychelles soon and once more organisers have been looking for a song to become the office theme tune for the national event.

This year’s chosen artist is Jean Marc Volcy and he has teaming up with a series of backing singers from the beautiful island to put the finished track together.

“The aim was to come up with a song that will have a great impact on people, create the festive ambiance, and keep people on their toes,” he told the press in the Seychelles.

“I started work on the song around October last year, and I am very happy with the end result.”

The song has been entitled ‘Sa Karnaval’ and will be showcased when the carnival gets underway at the beginning of March.

The Notting Hill Carnival Roadshow Company has also this week confirmed that it will be making an appearance at the festival.
