Romantics can go loco down in Acapulco

Those of you looking to add a romantic touch to your summer holiday should consider what Mexico has to offer.

This is according to the nation's tourism board, who say the Central American hotspot has everything needed to make it an ideal destination for a wedding or honeymoon.

"Mexico is by nature a romantic country, songs are better if in a serenade, music is better when danced by a partner, food is most enjoyable if shared - nothing in Mexico is done without love in the equation," stated Carmen Laborin, romance director at the Mexico Tourism Board.

She added that for those who want to skip the romance and plough head first into fun pursuits then there is plenty on offer also.

A recent World Travel Market Industry report said that Mexico – along with Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia and Argentina – has one of the fastest growing tourism sectors on the planet.
