New South Wales 'caters to every holiday taste'
The Australian state of New South Wales offers tourist attractions to suit every taste, an expert has said.
Sandra Chipchase, chief executive of Destination NSW pointed out that the north and south coasts appeal to holidaymakers in search of beach and surfing vacations, the Blue Mountains are ideal for nature lovers and the outback is perfect for those seeking adventure
package holidays.
Ms Chipchase also pointed out that Sydney's precincts are very popular with tourists looking for a culturally rich experience, with suburbs such as Leichhardt known for its Italian-influenced restaurants and markets.
"The vastness of our state and geographical diversity means visitors can experience any type of
holiday they can imagine and some they never thought possible," she said.
A recent survey conducted by Post Office Travel Insurance found that 79 per cent of 18 to 24-year-olds had gone on four foreign holidays before they reached the age of 16.
