Mozambique is blissful for beach lovers

When you are planning a summer holiday spent topping up your tan on the beach then the resort of Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique may not be the first place which springs to mind.

However, according to tourism marketing firm R.E.D Africa, the region has sandy beaches to rival any hotspot on the planet.

And Gary Louw, owner of R.E.D Africa, says that at a time when people are increasingly stressed after long hours at work, jetting off to the beach resort is the perfect way to relax or even rekindle the romance in your life.

"I am a stringent believer that good beach destinations are a must in your life. People should invest more in beach vacations than retirement investments, because beaches offer romance, relaxation and the opportunity to reconnect romantically with your partner," he said.

Mozambique has a coastline which stretches some 2700 km according to the country's official tourist board and offers some of the best whale and dolphin watching in the world.
