Family holidays 'becoming increasingly important'
With people leading busier lives than ever, it has never been more important to take regular
holidays to Greece and other popular destinations.
Kate Stinchcombe-Gillies, head of communications at holidaylettings.co.uk, said they are a top priority for most people.
"In the rat race of daily life, quality time often falls by the wayside and
holidays are increasingly important, especially for families, for providing dedicated time with partners, children and friends," she explained.
Ms Stinchcombe-Gilles noted that although cash is tight for many families at the moment, most travel sites enable people to refine their searches and look for packages that suit their budgets.
According to the Post Office Travel Money Monitor, the pound has gained strength against the euro over the last year, meaning that people taking
holidays to Greece and Spain are likely to get more bang for their buck than they did in 2009.
