Eating out in France 'need not be expensive'
Families planning
all inclusive holidays in France this year will have plenty of opportunities to dine out without spending too much, according to the country's tourism development agency.
Atout France pointed out that "eating well does not have to mean paying a lot" and highlighted the "various options available to the hungry tourist".
One option is to opt for cafes and bistros instead of restaurants.
Establishments such as these often serve "hearty, back to basics foods" typical of the region at lower prices than more formal eateries, according to Atout France.
People looking for high-quality, authentic food during their time in the country are advised to visit locations that are frequented by local residents.
Britons planning
cheap all inclusive holidays this year could also benefit from the competition between airlines offering
flights to France, which means that plenty of low fares are available.
Visitors have the option of flying with carriers such as British Airways, bmi, easyJet, Flybe and Jet2.
