All-inclusive holidays 'are most desired'
All-inclusive breaks are the most wanted type of
holiday for the majority of Brits, according to new research.
A recent poll carried out by travelsupermarket.com found that 29 per cent of people would like to pay up front for all of their meals, snacks and drinks.
Despite this, just 13 per cent of those polled said they will be taking an all-inclusive holiday this year.
Self-catering and villa breaks are the most likely choice for people, with 18 per cent planning to enjoy this type of getaway.
Of those polled, 46 per cent said they like to book their
holidays online, with just 11 per cent of travellers choosing to make their arrangements via high street travel agents.
Speaking recently, Bob Atkinson, an expert at travelsupermarket.com, said destinations such as Egypt, Turkey, South Africa and Canada offer excellent value for money at the moment.
