Active Travel expo comes to London in January

Following the success of the recent World Travel Market in London, holiday enthusiasts may be hungry for more travel expos in the nation's capital.

And in January their needs will be met as the ExCel Arena in London's docklands plays host to the Active Travel Show.

The event will be the biggest of its kind and will be held between Thursday the 12th and Sunday the 15th.

A wide range of exhibitors will give guests a unique insight into what the world has to offer but on top of that there will be activities to keep the whole family occupied such as a climbing wall and a cycling stage.

Another highlight will be exclusive film showings from the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Tickets for the event are priced at just £16 for adults with advanced booking and £20 for those choosing to pay on the door, while students and those aged over-60s will pay £13 in advance or £15 at the venue on the day.

Earlier this month, the World Travel Market attracted five per cent more visitors than it did in 2010.
