Kissimmee, Florida: 'Great base for exploring the great outdoors'
Parents trying to decide where to spend their
summer holidays may want to think about visiting Florida and its theme parks.
That is according to Rene Kuziv, senior sales representative at Kissimmee Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
Ms Kuziv said: "In addition to the world-famous theme parks in central Florida, Kissimmee is a great base for exploring the great outdoors. The area offers a lot of families respite after a long day of queues in the midday heat."
She suggested that Kissimmee is particularly good for families who want to enjoy adventure activities such as horse riding through the conservation areas and exploring the wildlife around Lake Toho.
In addition, there are boat rides, fishing and birding adventures that are open to anyone visitng the area.
Kissimmee in Florida is just south of Orlando where families can visit theme parks including Walt Disney World Resort, the World of Harry Potter and SeaWorld.
