P&O announces more cruises from Southampton

P&O Cruises has announced a number of new services and itineraries as part of its 2012-13 European programme.

The company will operate a series of new cruises from Southampton, including a seven-night voyage onboard Aurora departing on August 24th 2012 visiting popular holiday destinations in Spain, Portugal and France.

Oriana will operate services including a 14-night voyage from Southampton to Iceland and Norway, setting off on August 18th next year.

The vessel is due to undergo a refurbishment to turn it into a child-free ship, complete with new restaurants and other amenities.

Another liner in the company's fleet, Azura, will be deployed on a 24-night Black Sea itinerary, featuring visits to Portugal, Malta, Ukraine, Romania, Turkey and other countries.

People planning family cruises and other trips with P&O next year will also have the opportunity to visit several new ports of call, including Brindisi and Ancona on Italy's east coast, Durres in Albania and Kalmar in Sweden.
